El Mamurah Beach

Don’t forget sunscreen! The sun can be intense, especially around noon. I made the mistake of forgetting it and ended up with a pretty bad sunburn

If you want a quieter spot, head to the far left end of the beach. It gets way less crowded there, and you’ll have more space to relax and enjoy the sun.

I suggest visiting on a weekday rather than the weekend. The beach was packed on Saturday, but way more enjoyable with less crowd on a Friday.

Try to get there by around 9 AM to secure a good spot. By noon, the best areas were completely taken. Plus, it’s nice to enjoy the quieter morning vibes before it gets busy.
Al Azhar Park

If you can, visit during the week. The weekends can get a bit crowded, and you want to enjoy the serenity of the park.

I suggest visiting around 5 PM. The sunset views from the park are absolutely stunning and perfect for some awesome pics!
I recommend getting a map from the entrance. I didn’t, and I ended up missing a few beautiful spots!

Make sure to check out the main mosque, but go just before prayer time. It's a peaceful experience, and you can see the architecture in a relaxed way
Blue Hole

My advice is to rent a wetsuit if you're diving, even if the water seems warm. It helps with buoyancy and keeps you comfortable, trust me.

I think it’s super important to keep an eye on the currents. I got a bit too adventurous and ended up fighting against the waves. Better to be safe!
I recommend to get to Blue Hole around 8 AM, before things get too crowded and the sun gets blazing. It’s far more enjoyable when it’s a bit quieter!

You should totally bring your own snacks and water! The food options near Blue Hole are pretty limited and can be overpriced. I wish I had packed some extra energy bars.
Abu Dabbab

I suggest getting there by 9 AM to beat the rush. The beach gets crowded quickly, and you'll want a good spot to set up your towels and gear.

Don't forget your water shoes! The entry into the water can be rocky, and I regretted not having mine. They protect your feet and make swimming easier.

If you're planning to snorkel, invest in your own gear. Rentals are available, but having your own mask and snorkel makes it way more comfortable and saves time standing in line.

Make sure to bring a towel and sunscreen; the sun can be intense, and I got a bit burned because I thought I could last hours without it!”]} It helps with the enjoyment of your time in the water and keeps you comfortable while exploring this beautiful spot. Overall, just enjoy your time; there's so much beauty to catch at Abu Dabbab!
Orange Bay

I think you should bring some cash. Not all places accept cards, and you might want to get drinks or souvenirs without hassle. Plus, it’s good to tip the friendly staff.

My advice is to pack some snacks and water. The food options on the island are a bit pricey, and you might want to avoid those long lines during lunch time.

I suggest bringing your own snorkeling gear if you have it, rental prices can be a bit high and the quality isn't always great. Plus, you'll save time looking for a decent set!
I recommend getting there around 9 AM. It’s less crowded and you can snag the best spots on the beach for some sunbathing and swimming before everyone else arrives!
Sahara
Tolip Beach

I think the beach loungers can be overpriced so look for spots where you can lay your towel without renting one... It's totally doable if you come early

I recommend arriving around 9 AM to grab a good spot and avoid the midday sun. It can get crowded as the day goes on!
My advice is to check the weather beforehand. When I went, it turned out really windy in the afternoon and it wasn't as enjoyable for swimming!
Alexandria Corniche

Check out local street food stalls along the Corniche. They offer delicious and budget-friendly snacks. I had the best koshari for just a few pounds!

Bring cash! Some beach access points and small cafes don't accept cards, and you'll want to grab some refreshments while you enjoy the view.
Montazah Beach

I think you should bring your own snacks and drinks to save some cash. The beachside vendors can be pricey, and the quality isn't always guaranteed

Pro tip: Watch out for the sun around noon! I underestimated it and ended up getting sunburned. Bring a good sunscreen or you're gonna pay for it later!

I suggest visiting Montazah Beach early, like around 8 AM. It gets crowded really quick, and you'll have a better chance to grab a good spot without fighting for space.
Wahat Siwah

My advice is to explore the ancient ruins early in the morning, like around 7 AM. You'll beat the crowds and enjoy the nice weather. I got some incredible photos without anyone else in the frame.

I think it's worth it to rent a bike and explore the surrounding area. It saved me money on transportation, plus I discovered some hidden gems that aren't on any tourist maps!

I recommend trying out the local food at the small eateries instead of the more touristy places. You'll get delicious meals at half the price! I had the best koshari at this tiny spot my guide took me to.
