wear comfy shoes! the park is pretty large, and i ended up walking a lot more than i thought. you want to enjoy the beauty, not be stuck with sore feet.

Check the schedule for any outdoor events or concerts before you go. I stumbled upon a lovely performance and it added so much to my experience!

I suggest taking your time exploring the smaller paths. I zoomed past them and missed out on some beautiful hidden corners with flowers and lovely benches.

I recommend visiting in the early morning, around 8 AM, to really enjoy the peace and quiet before the crowds come. The light is really nice then too!
