Equestrian Center of the Cartoucherie

Try to catch a show if you can—it's usually around 4 PM. I stumbled into one by accident, and it was such a highlight! Just check their events calendar to see what’s on during your visit.

Bring your own snacks and drinks! The café’s a bit pricey and can get crowded. I packed a small picnic, and it made my visit much more pleasant and saved me a few bucks.

Check the schedule ahead of your visit! I found out they have specific hours for different activities, which helped me plan my day better. Avoid showing up at unexpected times; it can save you a lot of waiting around.
Chamonix Experience

I suggest trying the beginner courses if you're new; they really pack a lot of fun and learning in just a couple of hours. You'll feel accomplished without the pressure.

If you're on a budget, consider bringing your own snacks and drinks, as prices at the café can be quite steep. I found a lovely picnic spot nearby!
I recommend booking your climbing sessions in advance, especially during peak seasons, to avoid long waits and ensure you get your preferred time slot.
Izi Bike

I suggest you rent your bike online a few days in advance. It saved me some time and they even had a great discount for booking early! Plus, the selection was way better than when I just walked in.

if you're planning to hit the trails, make sure to bring your own water and snacks. the shops up there can be pricey, and i found it tough to find decent options when i really needed them
Saumur Horse Ball Europe

I recommend wearing comfortable shoes; you'll be on your feet a lot. The ground can be uneven, especially near the arena, so don’t underestimate good footwear!

If you can, catch the sunset match. The atmosphere is magical, and the views of the surrounding countryside are stunning. It’s a perfect way to end the day!

Check the schedule ahead of time! Some matches or events might have entry fees, while others are free. I didn't realize this and paid for a match that was open to the public later.

Bring some snacks and water. There are food stalls, but they can get pricey and sometimes run out during peak times. I was glad I packed my own!
Stables De Magnanville

Bring some snacks and water with you. There weren’t many places to grab a bite nearby, and I ended up spending too much at the only café. Also, comfortable shoes are a must – you’ll be on your feet a lot.
