Place de la Bourse
Check out the mirror fountain! It’s a great spot for pics, but it's best to visit later in the day when the sun is at the right angle
I think parking can be tricky, so try using public transportation. Tram lines 1 and 2 can get you close without the hassle.
Bring a picnic! It's super nice to grab some local goodies and enjoy them by the water. You can save money instead of eating at restaurants.
My advice is to explore the surrounding area, like the nearby Place des Quinconces. The vibe changes and it gives you more to see without much extra time!
Tombeau de Chateaubriand
Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes! The paths can be a bit uneven, and you'll want to walk around the area to fully appreciate the scenery.
Take some time to explore the surrounding area after visiting the tomb. There are beautiful coastal paths and hidden spots that aren't crowded; I wish I had done this!
Statue of Joan of Arc
If you're planning to explore the area, grab a coffee from a local café nearby before or after. It’s a nice spot to relax and you can save money getting a pastry with it!
Don't rush your visit. Take some time to read about Joan of Arc's history and significance nearby. It adds so much meaning to the statue itself and enhances the experience!
Border Monument
Try to visit early in the morning around 9 AM. The crowds are way lighter then, and you'll get some great pictures without a bunch of people photobombing you
If you're thinking about eating nearby, skip the overpriced spots right next to the monument. I found a cute little cafe a 10-minute walk away that had amazing pastries and way better prices!
Wear comfy shoes! The paths around the monument can be a bit uneven and trust me you don't want to be dealing with sore feet while exploring all the details up close.
Nungesser and Coli
I suggest visiting in the early morning around 8 AM to avoid the crowds and enjoy a peaceful stroll. The light is beautiful for photos too. Trust me, it makes a big difference.
