Chateau La Coste

Check out the art installations scattered throughout the property. They're amazing! I didn't expect it and spent a good hour just exploring them.

My advice is to book a wine tasting experience in advance. It was completely booked when I arrived, and I missed out on a fun part of the visit.

I suggest getting there early, around 10 AM, to avoid the crowds and have a peaceful stroll around the grounds. It's way more enjoyable without too many people around
Chateau Cantenac

I suggest arriving right when they open at 10 AM. It gets super crowded, and the staff can give you more attention before the big rush starts.

Be sure to ask about their special tasting options! I stumbled upon a limited wine that was amazing, but I almost missed it because I didn't inquire

I recommend bringing a light snack. The tasting can last longer than you think, and it's nice to have something to nibble on while enjoying the wine!

My advice is to check if they have any seasonal events. I went when they had a festival and it made the experience way more fun and engaging.
Champagne Mercier

Plan to spend some time exploring the tasting area after your tour. I discovered some delightful limited editions there that aren't available elsewhere.

I recommend booking your tour in advance, especially during peak season. It gets super busy, and we saw people turned away because there were no spaces left
City of Wine

If you're not a big wine fan, ask the staff for recommendations on which exhibits are more interactive or beginner-friendly. They really helped me enjoy my visit more.

I suggest checking out the little wine shop inside the City of Wine before you leave. They have cool stuff at prices way better than souvenir shops in the city.
Domaine Dopff au Moulin

My advice is to wear comfy shoes! The winery is in a charming area but you'll do some walking through the vineyards so you want to be comfortable.

I think it's better to visit on a weekday, especially in the afternoon around 3 PM. It was much less crowded, and I had a more personal experience with the staff - they really took their time with us!

I suggest checking out their wine tasting schedule before you go. I almost missed out on a special tasting event, and it was awesome! Plan ahead to enjoy everything they offer.
The House of Remy Martin

I think it's smart to book your tour in advance. I went without a reservation and ended up waiting an hour just to get in!

My advice is to try the tasting menu. It's pricier, but you get to sample some exclusive Cognacs that blow the regular ones out of the water.
Chateau Feely

If you're on a budget, skip the extras like the vineyard tour and just do the wine tasting. I thought the view was stunning just standing outside with a glass!

I recommend booking a tasting in advance. We almost missed out because they were fully booked when we showed up. It's a bummer to miss out on the awesome wines!
Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Visitors Center

If you're a fan of bubbly, definitely try their premium tasting option. It’s worth the little extra cost for the unique experience and flavors. I thought it was a steal!

I highly recommend booking your tour in advance, especially on weekends. It gets super busy and the last thing you want is to miss out on a spot. Trust me, I learned the hard way!

Make sure to explore the gift shop after your tour. You can find exclusive items and special bottles that aren’t available elsewhere. I picked up a lovely souvenir!
Guillaume and Mathieu Plou

Bring a reusable water bottle. It can get pretty warm, and they kindly refilled ours while we were sampling wines!

Check if they have any special tasting events or discounts before you go. We stumbled on a flight promotion that made it super affordable!

I recommend visiting during the week rather than on weekends. It was way less crowded, and we had more personal attention from the staff.
Les Caves Duhard
I recommend grabbing a bite at a nearby café before your visit. The cafés around have some great local food that makes the wine tasting even better afterwards.

Don’t forget to wear layers! It’s colder inside the caves than you’d think. I felt a bit chilly because I only wore a t-shirt

If you want to save some cash, try to visit on a weekday. The weekend crowd can really hike up the prices for tastings and tours, and you get a more relaxed vibe during the week.
