Trocadero Gardens

On sunny days, bring some sunscreen. I forgot mine, and I ended up looking like a lobster after just a couple of hours. The sun hits differently when you’re spending time outside!

Take advantage of the benches around the gardens. I did and it was a perfect spot for people watching plus it gives your feet a break. It’s a good way to soak in the atmosphere!

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. You’ll end up walking more than you think, especially if you want to explore the surrounding areas too. Those cobblestones are brutal!

I think you should check out the fountains in the gardens! They have a show at certain times, and it’s free entertainment. Be sure to ask around, sometimes they don’t run every day though.
Eiffel Tower

I recommend taking the stairs to the second level if you're up for it! It saved me some time and it felt great to actually climb the tower.

My advice is to explore the area around the Eiffel Tower after your visit. You can find some cute cafes and shops that are less touristy.

Dress for the weather, especially if you plan to go to the top. I was not ready for that chilly wind up there and it dampened the experience a bit.

I suggest getting your tickets online a day in advance to avoid those long lines. I thought I could just show up, but wow, the wait was crazy!
