Garden of Plants

For the best photos, visit around 10 AM when the light hits the flowers just right. Plus, it's less crowded then!

Check out the little greenhouses early in your visit. They’re super fascinating, and you might want to spend more time there than expected.

Wear comfy shoes because the gardens are bigger than they seem! You don’t want sore feet ruining your experience exploring all the paths.
Garden of Plants

I think you should wear comfy shoes. There's a lot to walk and explore, so trust me, you don't want to be distracted by sore feet!

My advice is to bring a picnic! There are lovely spots to relax and enjoy lunch without spending money at the café, which can get a bit pricey.

I recommend visiting during the early morning, around 9 AM, when the light is beautiful and it's less crowded. Perfect for some great photos!
Rouen Plant Garden

If you can, avoid weekend visits. It gets pretty packed with locals and families, making it tricky to really enjoy the beauty of the gardens and take good pictures. Weekdays are way more chill!

I think you should check out the plant labeling before you visit. Some sections have cool plants that you might want to look for specifically, and I missed some neat ones because I wasn’t aware of them!
Jardin de Balata

I think you should bring your own snacks and water. The little café there is pretty overpriced and limited on options.

I recommend taking your time and really exploring all the hidden areas. I rushed through and missed some of the best spots, like the butterfly garden!
Lyon Botanical Garden

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The cafe can be a bit pricey, and you’ll want to sit and enjoy the scenery without breaking the bank.

If you're into photography, go around late afternoon, like 4 PM. The light is softer and makes everything look amazing, trust me.
Jardin Botanik des Myrtes

I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, but I suggest visiting during the week, preferably around 10 AM, to avoid large crowds. It made my experience much more relaxing.
