Kotu Beach
I suggest bringing some snacks or a packed lunch. The beach shacks can be pricey for food, and it’s nice to munch on something while soaking up the sun.
If you're into surfing, I think just renting a board instead of booking classes is best. I tried a class and it was more expensive than just popping on a board for a bit of fun!
Kachikally Crocodile Pool
Bijilo Forest Park
Abuko National Park
I suggest bringing some snacks and water along. The park's facilities are limited, and you might want to take a break while soaking in the views. Trust me, you'll need the energy for exploring!
My advice is to get there around 8am when the gates open. The wildlife is super active in the morning and you’ll get the best chance to spot cool animals before it gets too hot.
Kiang West National Park
I think planning your visit around 7 AM is smart because you'll enjoy cooler temps and see more animal activity. Plus, it’s less crowded, so perfect for those epic nature shots.
Cape Point
I recommend bringing a picnic! The local food options are great, but can get pricey. I packed some snacks and had a lovely lunch right on the beach. Save some cash and enjoy the view!
My advice is to visit in the late afternoon around 4 PM. The sun is a lot softer then and the beach isn't as crowded. I got some stunning photos without tons of people in the background!
