Triberg Waterfalls

If you’re into hiking, don't just stick to the main path. Take the side trails for some stunning views, but make sure to wear good shoes – some areas can get slippery!

Check the weather before heading out. I got caught in a sudden shower, and it made the trails muddy. A light waterproof jacket would have been a lifesaver!

I recommend bringing a packed lunch. There are some nice spots to sit and enjoy your food while admiring the view, and it saves you from overpriced snacks at the cafe!

I suggest getting there early, like around 9 AM, to beat the crowds. It’s way more enjoyable when it’s not packed! Plus, you’ll get better photos without all those people in the background.
Partnachklamm Gorge
Wasserfallsteig

I think wearing sturdy shoes is a must. I wore my old sneakers and regretted it halfway through. The trails can get pretty rocky.

If you're into waterfalls, don’t rush it! Take your time exploring each one. I felt a bit hurried and wish I had soaked in the views longer
Schauinsland

My advice is to visit during weekdays, especially around 10 AM. It's way less crowded then, and you can enjoy the nature without the noise of large groups

Don't forget to pack a light jacket! It can get chilly up there, even in summer. I learned that the hard way when I froze during an afternoon hike at Schauinsland.

Heidschnukenweg Trail
Painters’ Way
Rhine Castles Trail

Keep an eye out for the signs along the trail. I missed a few turns while admiring the views, which added unnecessary time to my hike. A map on your phone can help you stay on track
