Europa Park
Trust me on this, try to go on weekdays. We went on a Saturday, and it was packed. Weekdays felt much more relaxed!
if you plan to go during the summer, try arriving by 9:30 am to beat the crowd. the lines get crazy after a couple of hours!
Phantasialand
Check out the themed shows between rides. They’re surprisingly entertaining and a nice break to relax without feeling like you've wasted time.
Pack some snacks and a water bottle to save money on food inside the park. The prices can be pretty steep, especially for families.
Heide Park
I suggest buying the online ticket in advance. It saved me a few euros and I avoided the long ticket lines at the entrance.
Check out the height requirements for rides before you go especially if you're taking kids. Some rides have strict limits and I saw quite a few disappointed little ones.
Stadtpark
Don't miss the kleine Flottbek stream! It’s a peaceful walk and a nice break from the busy park area. Perfect for some quiet time or photos.
If you can, visit in the late afternoon around 4 PM. The park is beautiful then, with the golden hour light making for great photos, and it's less crowded too!
Plan to explore the areas close to the planetarium. They're super pretty and add an extra layer to your park visit without much effort
Bring binoculars if you’re into bird watching. There are tons of different birds around, hardly anyone was doing this, so I had some great views all to myself!
Legoland
My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks, because the food inside can be super pricey. I spent way too much on a burger and fries!
I think you should definitely try to catch the LEGO shows throughout the day. They were entertaining and I almost missed them because I didn’t check the schedule in advance!
I suggest getting there right when they open at 10 AM. You’ll beat the crowds and have a chance to do the most popular rides without waiting in long lines!
