Plan for about a 1-hour drive from the town center to the lifts - roads can get icy! Based on my experience, set off by 8:00 AM to enjoy a full day of fun.
If you're planning on snowmobiling, bring your own gear if you have it. Rentals can be pricey, and you might find better quality gear when you bring your own
If you’re renting gear, compare prices at different shops in Kalavrita. I made the mistake of assuming all rentals were the same and ended up paying way more than I needed to.
If you're renting gear, do it before the weekend rush. I suggest going Friday morning when things are quieter. You'll save time and have better choices!

Bring your own lunch and snacks! The food at the lodge is okay, but overpriced. I packed a sandwich and some snacks and was way happier.
