The Acropolis Museum

I think you should definitely buy your tickets online beforehand. That way you can skip the line at the entrance and go straight in, saving you loads of time!

I recommend checking the museum's schedule for any special exhibits or events. I missed out on a cool temporary exhibit during my visit and I wish I’d known earlier!

If you're into photography, I suggest taking your pictures from the terrace bar. The view of the Acropolis is pretty epic! Just make sure to go before it gets too crowded.

Get there by 9 AM to beat the crowds! I arrived around that time, and it was much more enjoyable without the masses everywhere. You can soak in the exhibits in peace.
National Archaeological Museum

Consider bringing a small water bottle. You'll be walking a lot, and prices for drinks inside are a bit high.

Check out the cafe on the ground floor! Prices are pretty reasonable, and you can take a break with a coffee after exploring some galleries.
Museum of Archeology of Crete
Нama

Grab a snack before you arrive – the café there is pretty pricey and options are limited. I recommend hitting up a local bakery nearby instead.

If you’re into interactive exhibits, be sure to ask about any special displays. I stumbled upon a workshop happening and it was a cool bonus!

Definitely check the opening hours before you go – I almost missed it because they close early on certain days. Aim for around 4 PM when it's usually less crowded.

Look for any combo tickets if you plan to visit more than one museum in the area – saves you a few Euros and it's handy for hopping around!
Delphi Archaeological Museum

Grab a combo ticket for both the museum and archaeological site. It's cheaper than buying them separately and saves you hassle later on.

Make sure to check out the museum gift shop! They have some unique souvenirs and the prices are pretty reasonable compared to other tourist spots

Wear comfortable shoes! The museum has some stairs and uneven flooring, and you’ll want to be able to walk around without any pain.

Allocate at least two hours for your visit. I rushed through because I thought it was smaller, but I missed so many fascinating details.
Archaeological Museum of Olympia

I think you should spend some time reading the signs around the exhibits. They’re super informative and made the sculptures come alive for me!

Don't forget to check out the gift shop before you leave. They have some awesome souvenirs that are unique and reasonably priced!

My advice is to grab a combo ticket for both the museum and the archaeological site. It saved me some cash and let me explore everything without feeling rushed.
I recommend visiting right when the museum opens at 9 AM to avoid the crowds and have a more peaceful experience. Trust me, it made my visit so much better.
Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki

I recommend bringing a water bottle because it can get warm in there, especially during the summer months. There's a nice café if you need to take a break

If you're on a budget, consider getting the combined ticket for the museum and the nearby sites. I saved a lot by doing this!

Don’t miss the lower level with the incredible gold artifacts. It was definitely a highlight of my trip and not too many people go there right away.
I suggest starting your visit around 10 AM, just after opening, to avoid crowds. It makes it way easier to enjoy the exhibits without feeling rushed or jostled.
Thessaloniki Archaeological Museum

Bring a water bottle! There are places to refill, and trust me, you'll want to stay hydrated while wandering through the museum.

Don’t skip the gift shop on your way out. I got some unique souvenirs that you won’t find anywhere else in Thessaloniki!

Make sure to download the museum's app! It has great audio guides and info that really enhances your experience without the need for a guide

Benaki Museum
My advice is to download the museum's app before your visit. It has an audio guide that really enhanced my experience. I wish I had known earlier how much it adds.

One thing I suggest is grabbing a coffee at the café before you start. It's a nice spot to unwind and also less busy in the mornings. I regretted not doing that at the start!

I recommend visiting on a Wednesday. It's less crowded, and the ticket price is reduced! Trust me, it makes for a much more enjoyable experience without all the people
Ataturk Museum

Grab a snack before you visit! The small café nearby was pricey for mediocre food... I think it’s better to eat before you go
If you can, visit on a weekday around 2 PM. The museum was practically empty then, and I had a much calmer experience exploring

Definitely check the opening hours before you go! I went on a Sunday and it was closed for some reason. What a bummer!
