Pulhapanzak Waterfalls
I recommend packing a light waterproof bag. My phone got wet during the falls, and I regretted not having a dry place for it.
Try to get to the park by 9 AM. You'll avoid the crowds and have a better chance to snap some awesome pics without people in the way.
I suggest wearing water shoes or flip-flops. The path can get really slippery, especially near the falls. I almost wiped out a couple of times!
El Picacho United Nations Park
My advice is to wear good hiking shoes. The trails can get a bit rocky and slippery, especially after rain. I learned that the hard way!
Bring some snacks and water; there are a few spots to relax, but they don’t have many food options. I spent more than I planned on snacks at the little kiosk!
I suggest heading to the park early, around 7 AM, to beat the heat and enjoy a quieter atmosphere. The sunrise views are totally worth it!
Maya Key
West Bay Beach
Cayos Cochinos
Gumbalimba Park
Pico Bonito National Park
I recommend setting out for your trek early, around 7 AM. The trails get super busy later, and starting early gives you a chance to see the wildlife before it gets too hot
