Check out if they have any combo deals for equipment rental. I almost missed out on a package that saved me a nice chunk of change!

My advice is to wear comfy clothes and shoes. You’ll be moving around a lot and jeans can get sticky. I wore something lighter and it made a big difference.

My advice is to grab a bike and ride along the lake's shore. It's stunning and way better than just walking; you'll cover more ground without getting worn out.

I suggest checking out the local markets for fresh produce and snacks; they have the best prices compared to stores! I wish I'd known earlier, as I could've saved a bunch on meals.

If you want to hike, the Tihany Peninsula is epic. Just be cautious about the signage; I lost track a bit. Bring a good map or download an app to avoid getting lost!

Bring your own snacks and water. There's not much to buy inside the park, so packing a lunch will save you money and energy for the trails.

If you're planning to explore the caves, wear good shoes. I made the mistake of wearing pretty sandals and regretted it during the slippery parts.

I recommend downloading a map of the trails before you go, as cell service can be spotty at times. It helped me find some hidden gems along the way

If you're planning to hike start early around 8 AM to avoid the heat and crowds. The trails are much more enjoyable when you're not dodging other hikers!

Bring some snacks and water for the trails. I thought I could buy stuff along the way but realized the options are limited. A packed lunch made my day so much better.
