Oxararfoss Waterfall

I recommend bringing snacks and drinks. There aren’t many food options nearby, and it’s nice to relax with a picnic by the falls

Check the weather before you go! It changed on me, and I got soaked. A waterproof jacket made a huge difference.

If you're into photography, the golden hour around sunrise or sunset offers incredible lighting. I wish I'd gotten there earlier for some great shots!

Be mindful of the pathways—they can be slippery, so wear good footwear. I saw some people struggling in flip-flops!

I think bringing snacks and water can save you money since there aren't many shops around. It's nice to take a break and refuel while enjoying the view!

I suggest downloading offline maps because cell service can be spotty near the waterfall. I spent a good 30 minutes wandering before I found the right path!

I recommend going early, like around 8am, to beat the crowds and get those perfect photos. The lighting is amazing too!
Glymur Waterfall

If you're heading there, try to arrive by 9 AM. We found fewer crowds and got some amazing photos without a bunch of people in the background. Plus, it’s easier to find parking then!

I suggest wearing good hiking boots! The trails can get slippery, especially near the waterfall, and you definitely don't want to take a tumble. Trust me, it happened to a couple near us, and it wasn't pretty!
