Kanheri

I recommend visiting Kanheri on a weekday, especially in the morning around 9 AM. It's way less crowded then and you can really soak in the vibes of the caves!
If you're planning to take photos, don't miss the golden hour! The lighting just before sunset is stunning and makes the caves look even more magical.
My advice is to wear comfortable walking shoes! You're going to be climbing up and down quite a bit, and trust me, flip flops are not your best friend here!
The Kondivite Caves

Look for local food stalls nearby after your visit. I stumbled upon some amazing street food that really topped off my day. Don't skip it!

I recommend going on a weekday to avoid the crowds; it felt more peaceful that way. Weekends can get quite packed and you might miss out on some details of the caves.

Bring a good pair of walking shoes! The terrain can be a bit rugged, and there were times I wished I had better grip while exploring.
Jogeshwari Caves

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. The paths can be steep and uneven, and trust me, you don’t want to be struggling with sore feet halfway through!

I recommend going early in the morning, around 8 AM, to beat the crowds and enjoy the caves peacefully. You'll have more time for photos and exploring without the hustle.

I suggest bringing some water and snacks. There's not much around the area, and you'll appreciate having a quick bite while you take in the amazing views.
