Maidan

While enjoying the greenery keep an eye out for street vendors. They sell tasty snacks at great prices. Just remember to check cleanliness before you buy!

If you're planning to take photos, I recommend visiting around 7 AM. The morning light is perfect and it's not too crowded yet. I wish I had gone earlier!

I think it's smart to bring a water bottle and some snacks. There aren't many food stalls around, plus you can save a few bucks!

Take a stroll around the area and check out the nearby attractions. I missed out on some cool spots because I was too focused on Maidan itself. Don't make the same mistake!
Sanjay Gandhi National Park

I suggest you pack some snacks! While there are food stalls, they can be limited and relatively pricey compared to what you can bring along.

Check the local bus schedules if you're using public transport. They can be a bit unpredictable, so having a backup plan can save you a lot of time.

Definitely try to visit during the morning, around 8 AM. The park is way less crowded, and you can enjoy the peace and quiet while spotting wildlife.

If you're planning to hike to the Kanheri Caves, wear comfy shoes and carry water. It can get pretty steamy, and you'll want to stay hydrated.
Shivaji Park

I recommend visiting early in the morning, around 7 AM, to avoid the crowd and enjoy a peaceful walk. The park feels like a different world before the hustle and bustle kicks in.

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. You’ll end up walking more than you think, especially if you want to see all corners of the park!

Pack some snacks or a picnic. There aren’t many food stalls inside, and it’s nice to chill on the grass with some homemade treats when you're exploring!

If you're into photography, golden hour is magical here. Sunrise or sunset (around 6:30 PM) gives you the perfect lighting for those Insta shots.
Jim Corbett National Park

Plan to take the early morning safari at around 6 AM. The park is so peaceful, and you get to see animals when they’re most active.

Carry cash for small purchases inside the park. I thought cards were accepted everywhere, but a few local shops only took cash – learned that the hard way!

I recommend visiting the Dhikala zone for the best chance of tiger sightings. We saw one there, and it was unforgettable!

Don’t forget insect repellent; the mosquitoes were out in full force! I wish I had brought some more effective stuff after getting bitten a few times.
Central Park

My advice is to visit during the early morning, around 7 am. The park is way less crowded and you'll catch some stunning sunrise views.
I recommend you bring a good camera. The greenery, fountains, and sculpture are super photogenic! You're gonna wanna capture those insta-worthy moments.

My tip is to check the local events if you can. I accidentally caught an awesome cultural show during my visit! It really enhanced my experience

I think you should explore the less crowded corners of the park. I stumbled upon this tiny but peaceful pond area where I saw a ton of birds, a nice escape from the bustle.
Semmozai Punga

I suggest visiting in the early morning, around 7 AM, when it’s cooler and less crowded. It really makes a difference for enjoying the calm atmosphere.

Check out the local food stalls outside for some authentic Chennai street food. I tried the dosas and they were amazing and so much cheaper than restaurant prices!

Don't miss the small lake area; it's serene and perfect for some quiet time. I nearly overlooked it but ended up loving it there!
Anna Tower

I think visiting on a weekday is smart. The weekends can get super crowded, and you might feel rushed trying to enjoy the view. Plus, it's quieter during weekdays!

I recommend parking your vehicle a bit away from the tower if you can, as there's limited space, and the traffic can be a nightmare. Trust me, you won’t want to deal with that after a long day!

I thought the ticket prices were fair, but there's a small fee for cameras. So, if you're a shutterbug like me, be ready to pay that extra couple of bucks!
Gwindi National Park

If you're on a budget, bring your own snacks and water. The food options inside are limited and pretty pricey!

I suggest planning your visit on a weekday rather than the weekend. It was way quieter then, and I could really relax and enjoy the beauty.

My advice is to take a guided nature walk if possible. I did this, and it was super informative and enjoyable, plus I spotted birds I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise.

I recommend wearing comfy shoes! The trails can get a bit tricky and you'll want to explore without worrying about sore feet.
Prayadarshini Park

I suggest taking a camera, but watch out for the monkey antics! Keep your food away or they might just snatch it right out of your hands.

I highly recommend visiting early in the morning around 7 AM – it’s way less crowded and the weather is cooler, perfect for a stroll!

I found the park clean and peaceful, but some benches could use a little TLC. If you want to chill, find the newer benches – they’re more comfy!

My advice is to check the weather before going; it can get super hot, especially in the afternoon, so an umbrella or hat could save the day!
Panagal Park

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. The pathways are nice but can get a bit uneven, so you want to be sure your feet are happy while you walk around.

I noticed a lot of locals bring their pets, so if you want to enjoy the park scene, maybe consider bringing a friendly pet if you have one. Just keep them on a leash!

If you’re planning to take a break at one of the benches, bring a drink or snack. There aren’t really any food stalls inside, and I had to walk out to grab something.

If you like photography, go for the late afternoon light around 5 PM. The park looks amazing then, and you’ll get some gorgeous sunset shots.
