Check if the visitor center is open before you go. I missed some valuable info because it was closed, and I totally think it would’ve enhanced my experience.
bring plenty of water and snacks! the trek can be tougher than it looks, and having fuel to keep you going makes a huge difference

Dress respectfully—long sleeves and pants are a must. I saw a lot of people turned away for not following the dress code, which wasted their time. It's better to be safe than sorry!
i suggest getting there by 7 am if you can. the early morning light is stunning for photos, and it's way less crowded. trust me, you'll enjoy the peace before the crowds swarm in.
Bring some water and a small snack. You might not find many places to buy refreshments nearby, and trust me, exploring gets tiring! A quick snack gave me the energy to enjoy it all.
