Bograshov Beach

If you're planning to rent a sunbed, try to get there by 9 AM. I found that the earlier you arrive, the better the spot you can grab, especially because it gets crowded fast!

Check out the beach vibes after 5 PM when the sun starts to set. It's way less crowded and super beautiful, perfect for a laid-back evening.

My advice is to take a stroll along the promenade. It's a lovely walk where you’ll discover some cute cafes and shops that won’t break the bank.

I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks. Buying food on the beach can be pricey, and I ended up spending way too much on a sandwich and water!
Eilat's Coral Beach Nature Reserve and Conservation Area

I recommend wearing water shoes. The rocky parts of the beach can be rough on your feet, and wearing them made my time a lot more enjoyable!

If you can, visit around 8 AM. The water is crystal clear and not too crowded yet. I loved having the beach nearly to myself.
I suggest bringing your own snorkeling gear if you can. Rentals can get a bit pricey and the quality isn’t always great. Plus, you’ll save some cash!

I think you should plan to stay for the sunset. The view is absolutely breathtaking and definitely worth the few extra minutes!
Gordon Beach

If you're looking for a nice spot, come early—around 8 AM. It gets crowded fast, and you'll want to grab a good spot on the sand before it's taken.

I recommend checking the wind conditions before you go. It can get pretty breezy, which is nice for sunbathing but not so good if you're planning to swim

I suggest bringing your own beach towels and snacks to save some cash. The food at nearby cafes can be pricey, and I felt like I was spending a fortune just on drinks.
Metsitsim Beach

Finally, bring some cash. Not all vendors accept cards, and it’s good to have some on hand for those delicious ice cream vendors.
Check out the beach volleyball games even if you're not playing. It's fun to watch and it adds to the lively atmosphere of the beach!

If you're planning to grab food, hit up the local eateries behind the beach instead of the overpriced beach shacks. Much better food and way cheaper!

Don’t forget your water shoes! The beach has some rocky areas which can be a bit uncomfortable to walk on barefoot.
Hatzuk Beach

Bring your own snacks and drinks! The beach cafes can be pretty pricey. I wish I had prepared better instead of buying overpriced water!

Check for free beach yoga classes in the early morning. I stumbled upon one by accident, and it was a fantastic way to start the day!

i suggest getting there via public transport. the bus system is great and you'll save on parking fees, which can really add up.
Frishman Beach

Consider using the public transport system instead of taxis. The bus system is easy and will save you a good amount of money when getting to and from Frishman Beach.

Get to the beach early, around 8 AM, to snag a good spot before it gets crowded. The early morning vibe is also really peaceful.

I recommend wearing water shoes. The beach floor can be a bit rocky, and you'll have a more comfortable experience when splashing around.
Masada National Park

If you're into history, download an audio guide before you go. It helped me understand the significance of various spots, and I got to explore at my own pace.
I think a sunset visit would be incredible! The view from the top at that time is just breathtaking, just check the closing times so you don’t get stuck!

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. The hike can be steeper than you'd expect and those cobblestone paths can be a bit slippery!
Ein Gedi
The Stars Beach

Bring your own snacks and drinks. The beach bars are cool but they charge crazy prices for a bottle of water.

Don't forget sunscreen! I thought I'd be fine without it and ended up looking like a lobster. Trust me, it's not pretty.

I recommend exploring the surrounding area after the beach. The promenade has great shops and cafes that are worth checking out.

Check the weather before you go. I got caught in a surprise rainstorm and it definitely put a damper on my day!
Gethsemane

Don’t forget your camera! These ancient olive trees are so photogenic. I recommend taking time to explore every nook—there's always a hidden gem.

Grab a local map before heading in; it’ll help you find the smaller paths and less crowded spots that most visitors miss.

I suggest sneaking in a small snack. There are benches where you can sit and enjoy a light bite while soaking in the serene vibe of the gardens
