I suggest visiting La Fenice in the late afternoon around 4 PM. Less crowds and great light for photos! Trust me, it makes a difference.

My advice is to explore the area before the show. There's a beautiful square near San Carlo where you can grab an aperitivo for cheaper than at the theater bars.

Check out the free guided tours. They run daily at 10 AM and 3 PM. I stumbled into one on a whim and learned so much about the history and architecture. It was a highlight!
