Ghiaie Beach
If you're going in the summer, get there by 9 AM to snag a good spot. You'd be surprised how quickly the beach fills up after that!
I recommend visiting on a weekday if you can. The weekends are super crowded, and it can be hard to find a quiet spot to relax. Trust me, you'll enjoy it way more!
Biodola Beach
Jamaica Beach
If you're planning to rent a sunbed or umbrella, arrive by 10 AM to snag the best spots before they fill up. I got there a bit later and ended up pretty far back!
Check the weather before you go. I thought it would be sunny all day, but it turned cloudy and rainy in the afternoon. Don't miss the morning sun!
Procchio Beach
I recommend hitting the beach around 8 AM. The sunrise is stunning and you can snag a good spot before the crowds arrive.
If you wanna save time, I suggest looking for parking in the side streets instead of the main lot. It's usually less crowded and you can find a spot easier.
I learned the hard way that the waves can get strong, especially in the afternoon. Keep an eye on the kids and don't let them wander too far from the shore!
Spiaggia di Marina di Campo
My advice is to check out the beach chairs and umbrellas before you settle down. Some spots have better shade than others, and it can get really sunny!
I think you should definitely explore the nearby trails. The views are stunning, and it only takes about 30 minutes to hike up to that viewpoint – trust me, it's worth it!
If you’re into snorkeling, bring your own gear! The rental prices were a bit steep. I wish I had packed my own equipment, it would have saved me some cash.
Pini Beach
If you’re planning to rent a sunbed, I recommend doing it early in the morning. They tend to sell out fast, especially on weekends, and you don’t want to be left with just a towel!
Don't forget to bring water shoes! The pebbles can be a bit tough on the feet, and I wish I had remembered to bring mine. It would have made walking around so much easier!
Cavoli Beach
Check out the nearby beach clubs for a nice vibe but don't forget to wear flip-flops. The ground can get super hot and uncomfortable if you're walking barefoot!
I think the water is perfect in mid-September, less crowded too! Plus, the weather is still warm. Consider timing your visit right before school starts.
I recommend getting to Cavoli Beach around 10 AM to grab a good spot, because it gets crowded pretty fast, especially during peak season. We barely found space after that!
You can save money by bringing your own snacks and drinks. The beach bars can be pricey, and although their food is good, it’s nothing fancy – save it for a nice dinner later!
Cannelle Beach
Don't forget to check the tide schedule before you go. It can really affect how much beach space is available and we regretted not looking ahead.
Torbole Beach
I think if you want a quieter spot, try heading to the beach around 4 PM. It gets less crowded and you can really enjoy the sunset without all the noise.
My advice is to rent a bike instead of driving. It was way more fun and you can explore the beautiful lakeside paths without the hassle of finding parking.
Bagno Baratti
I think you should try the local seafood at the beach shack. It’s delicious and surprisingly affordable for the quality!
remember to bring your own beach umbrella and snacks. i forgot mine, and renting at the beach was pretty pricey!
