Beaches in Italy:
Ghiaie Beach
I recommend visiting on a weekday if you can. The weekends are super crowded, and it can be hard to find a quiet spot to relax. Trust me, you'll enjoy it way more!
Biodola Beach
Jamaica Beach
Procchio Beach
If you wanna save time, I suggest looking for parking in the side streets instead of the main lot. It's usually less crowded and you can find a spot easier.
I learned the hard way that the waves can get strong, especially in the afternoon. Keep an eye on the kids and don't let them wander too far from the shore!
Spiaggia di Marina di Campo
Pini Beach
If you’re planning to rent a sunbed, I recommend doing it early in the morning. They tend to sell out fast, especially on weekends, and you don’t want to be left with just a towel!
Don't forget to bring water shoes! The pebbles can be a bit tough on the feet, and I wish I had remembered to bring mine. It would have made walking around so much easier!
Cavoli Beach
I think the water is perfect in mid-September, less crowded too! Plus, the weather is still warm. Consider timing your visit right before school starts.
I recommend getting to Cavoli Beach around 10 AM to grab a good spot, because it gets crowded pretty fast, especially during peak season. We barely found space after that!
You can save money by bringing your own snacks and drinks. The beach bars can be pricey, and although their food is good, it’s nothing fancy – save it for a nice dinner later!
Cannelle Beach
Torbole Beach
My advice is to rent a bike instead of driving. It was way more fun and you can explore the beautiful lakeside paths without the hassle of finding parking.
