Kuang Si Fall
Blue Lagoon and Phu Kham Cave Vang Vieng

Don't forget your camera! The views around Phu Kham Cave are stunning. Just be ready for some steep climbs, so maybe a light pair of shoes would work best.

I've noticed that getting a local SIM card can be really helpful for maps and emergency contacts. It helped me not get lost in the area.
Nam Ha National Protected Area

I think bringing cash is essential. Some places don’t accept cards, and you might miss out on local snacks or hiring a guide if you’re short on cash
Gibbon Experience Office

I suggest booking your zip line adventure a few days in advance. The slots can fill up fast, especially on weekends, and you might miss out on the experience. Trust me, you don’t wanna wait around!
Dong Markkhai Horse Riding Club
Tad Lo Village

Don’t overspend on souvenirs in the village. You can find similar items a bit cheaper at local markets in nearby larger towns. I found some awesome handmade goods elsewhere at a better price.

I suggest trying to stay at a homestay instead of a guest house. It was a bit cramped at first, but the connection with the locals and cultural experience was totally worth it. Plus, you might score some home-cooked meals!
5 April International Shooting Range
My advice is to try the package deals if you want to shoot more than one type of gun—it's way cheaper than paying per session, and you get more bang for your buck!
Bokeo Nature Reserve

I think it's a good idea to visit during the dry season between November and February. I made the mistake of going in wet season and found the trails muddy and slippery. Save yourself the extra hassle and go when it’s drier!

I recommend bringing your own snacks and water – the food options inside Bokeo Nature Reserve can be super limited and pricey. Also, packing light but smart is key for trekking, so leave the excess stuff behind.
