Chao Anouvong Park

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. The paths are pretty easy to walk, but uneven surfaces can sneak up on you. Better be safe than sorry, right?

I suggest visiting around 5 PM. That's when the sunset really lights up the park and creates a beautiful photo opportunity, trust me, you'll love it!

Check for any events or festivals happening before your visit. I stumbled upon a traditional dance performance that was an unexpected highlight of my trip
Buddha Park

I think renting a bike is a fantastic way to explore the park and save money on transport. It's a bit of a trek from the city center, but the ride is totally worth it!

My advice is to bring some snacks and water. The food options in the area are limited and a bit overpriced. I ended up spending more than I wanted just for a drink!
Dong Hua Sao National Bio-Diversity

I recommend bringing your own snacks and water, since food options inside the park are pretty limited and can get pricey. I found a great spot to eat while enjoying the beautiful views.
Phou Khao Khouay National Bio-Diversity Conservation Area

I recommend bringing some snacks and water—there aren’t many places to buy food and you'll want the energy while trekking. Trust me I got super hungry halfway through my hike!
