Mulanje Mountain Forest Reserve
My advice is to take extra snacks and water. Some trails are longer than they look, and you don’t wanna be caught hungry or thirsty out there.
Lilongwe Wildlife Centre
I recommend bringing your own snacks and water. The café is a bit pricey and not too many options, so you'll save some cash and have more energy for exploring.
Kuti Wildlife Reserve Main Gate
my advice is to grab some snacks before visiting. the small shop there is a bit limited and kind of pricey. i ended up spending more than i wanted for just a drink and a few chips.
I recommend you check the feeding times for animals, especially if you want to see them active. I missed the giraffe feeding and felt a bit bummed about it. Just an hour earlier would have made my visit way better!
Liwonde National Park
My advice is to stay at one of the lodges inside the park if you can. It's a bit pricier, but the proximity to the best spots is worth it. Plus, you avoid the hassle of leaving the park daily!
Kasungu National Park
I suggest bringing a packed lunch and some snacks. The park's facilities can be limited, and I found food options a bit pricey. Picnic amidst nature is way better!
