Dataran Merdeka
I think the early morning is the best time to visit Dataran Merdeka around 8 AM. It’s not too crowded and the weather is cooler for exploration.
Make sure to bring a bottle of water. There aren't many places to get drinks nearby and it gets hot fast.
Central Market
Negara Mosque
Masjid Jame Mosque
I think wearing comfortable shoes is a must! You'll want to walk around and explore every inch, but the floors can get hot during the day.
one thing i didn’t expect was the heat, so i’d say grab a bottle of water from a nearby stall before heading in. it makes the experience way more enjoyable!
I suggest bringing a light scarf, especially if you want to go inside. It's good for covering your head and shoulders, plus it saves you from buying one there.
Vilayat Persecutuan
Tian Hou Temple
Definitely check the weather before you go. It can get super hot or rain unexpectedly. I went when it was sunny and ended up needing sunscreen!
When you're there, take your time exploring all the smaller shrines too. They’re just as beautiful and I totally missed some cool spots because I was too focused on the main temple.
Try to go early, like around 9 AM. It’s way less crowded and you get to enjoy the peace before the tourist rush. Trust me, it feels so much more special this way.
Temple Kek Lok Si
Bazaar Karat
National Palace
As Siakirin Mosque
I recommend visiting in the early morning around 8 AM. The light is perfect for photos and it's way less crowded. Plus, you get to enjoy the peaceful vibe of the mosque
