Chamarel Waterfall
Le Morne Brabant

Consider hiring a local guide. They shared fascinating stories and tips I would have missed otherwise, making my hike way more interesting!
Pont Naturel
Rochester Falls
La Cuvette Public Beach

If you want to save time looking for restrooms, there are some in nearby cafes but the lines can get long. I found going just before lunch helped avoid the rush

My advice is to arrive around 8 AM to snag a good spot. The beach gets crowded quick after that, and trust me, watching the sunrise with fewer people is fantastic!

I think it's best to bring water shoes. The sandy areas are great, but there are some rocky spots that can be a bit rough on bare feet. I learned that the hard way!

I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks... The beach's nearby shops can be pricey, and you'll save a lot of cash... Plus, picnicking on the sand is part of the fun!
La Valley De Culiers Nature Reserve

Check the weather before you go. I thought it would be sunny but got caught in a rain shower. It dampened my zip-lining experience so packing a poncho wouldn't hurt!

I suggest wearing comfortable shoes! The trails can be uneven and you don’t want sore feet while hiking.

I suggest wearing sturdy shoes because some paths can get muddy, especially if it's rained recently... Trust me, I had to wipe my shoes clean a few times!
Botanical Garden Pamplus
Alexandra Falls
Seven-Сolor Sands
Don't rush through the main viewing area. Spend at least an hour just soaking in the colors and taking photos. My pics turned out waaaay better when I took my time!

Pick up a bottle of water before you head in. There are no shops once you start the trail, and it can get pretty hot out there!

I recomened visiting during the weekdays to avoid crowds. I went on a Saturday and it was pretty packed; not ideal for those perfect shots!

Bring some cash! Lots of local vendors around offer cool souvenirs and snacks, but many don’t accept cards.
Black River Gorges National Park

My advice is to pack a picnic and eat it at one of the lookout points. The views are amazing, and it saves you money instead of eating at a nearby restaurant.

I recommend starting your day at around 8 AM. The park is way less crowded then, and you'll get all those stunning photos without other people in them!
