My advice is to grab some local snacks from street vendors outside the park. They have tasty treats for cheap, way better than overpriced cafes inside. I saved a ton.

i suggest visiting in the early morning around 7 am. it's cooler and less crowded then, plus you’ll get some beautiful sunrise pics. i regret going late in the day when it was packed.

I recommend bringing water and a small mat or blanket. There are some nice spots to sit and enjoy the view of the Sule Pagoda, but finding a bench can be tricky!
