My advice is to pack a good lunch and plenty of water. There's not much around the canyon, and you'll want some energy for those hikes

I think you should bring your own snacks and drinks. The prices inside can get a bit steep, and I regret not packin' my own food. You'll enjoy the day more without worrying about money.

I recommend checking their schedule online before you go. I saw a game at noon and ended up waiting around for an hour because I didn't plan ahead. It can be busy and you wanna catch the match if you can!

I think it's super helpful to book your session online instead of just walking in... You might snag a discount this way, and it saves you time waiting in line... Plus, it lets you pick your time slots better

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks if you can. The food options there are pretty limited and overpriced. I regretted not packing a few goodies from my hotel!

Check for local artisans or markets before leaving Waterberg. I found some awsome handmade crafts that were way more reasonably priced than in bigger towns. It’s a great way to snag some memories and support the local community!

Definetly pack a lot of water and snacks before hitting the trails. I ran out of energy halfway up the hike and had to turn back. It really makes a huge diffence to have your own supplies!

I suggest bringing your own firewood if you can. It can be a bit pricey at the campsite, and you'll save some cash. Plus, nothing beats grilling over a good flame.

I suggest visiting early in the morning, around 7 AM, to catch the stunning sunrise and see more wildlife active. The light is also perfect for photos!

I think it’s worth doing the shorter hike if you’re not used to trekking; it’s beautiful and lets you see a lot without exhausting yourself. The 8 km one might feel lengthy on a hot day.

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The reserve’s cafe can be pricey and has limited options, so packing a picnic can save you some bucks.
