Don't skip the local tea houses for meals; they’re v cheap and delicious. I found some hidden gems that weren't on any maps. Worth it!
Bring a refillable water bottle—you'll save money and help the environment! I regret not bringing mine sooner; those bottled waters add up quick.

Take a power bank for your phone—it can be tricky to find outlets sometimes. I got stuck worrying about battery life just when I wanted to take photos!

Start your trek early, around 6 AM, to avoid the midday heat and catch stunning sunrises. I did this and it was magical!
Chitwan

Consider visiting during the evening safari around 4 PM. The animals are more active, and the sunset view is just stunning!

Pack insect repellent; the mosquitoes can be pretty relentless, especially in the humid evenings. I learned that the hard way!

Bring cash for entrance fees and any optional activities. Some places don't accept cards, and you don't want to miss out on a great experience because of that.
Sagarmatha

I suggest taking your time and acclimatizing properly. I rushed the first couple of days and felt the altitude hit me hard - slow and steady wins the race!

I think it's best to start your trek around 6 AM; the views at sunrise are simply magical, and you can avoid the crowds at the popular viewpoints.
Langtang National Park
My advice is to pack a lunch for your hikes. You can save a bunch of cash by avoiding marked-up snacks at the tea houses, especially the ones at scenic spots where they know you’ll pay more!
Bardia National Park

my advice is to bring snacks and water, especially if you plan on walking around. the food options inside can be limited and pricey, and i found myself kinda hungry during the day.

I suggest going on a jungle safari early in the morning, around 6 am. It's when the animals are most active and you'll get the best chance of seeing them!

I recommend hiring a local guide. They really know the area, and it makes the wildlife spotting way easier. Plus, you'll get awesome stories from them.
