Taurus World of Adventure

I think it helps to grab a snack from the cafe before your games. The energy boost can really make a diff and you won't risk getting hangry during the fun!

I recommend going on a weekday, like Tuesday or Wednesday. It's way less crowded, and you can enjoy the games without feeling rushed.
TT Circuit Assen

Explore the paddock area if you get a chance. It's a great way to get close to the bikes and teams, and you can get some cool photos!

Bring your own snacks and drinks! The food stalls can get pricey, and the options are pretty basic. I made that mistake!

If you're going for a race day, definitely book your tickets online in advance. It saves you from the long queues at the gate and sometimes there's a discount too!

If you can, stay in a nearby town instead of Assen. Hotels in Assen get super busy, and you might save a few bucks in a surrounding area.
Silverstone Party Center
ALOHA
SnowWorld

I suggest checking online for combo tickets that include rental gear – it saved me a good chunk of change! And it’s super convenient, too.
Veluwe Airsoft

Pack some snacks and drinks; there aren't many places nearby to grab a bite. You'll want to keep your energy up for all the action!
Johan Cruyff Arena
Petanque Vereniging Nieuwegein PVN

I recommend visiting during the afternoon on weekends; it gets lively and you can often find local players willing to show you the ropes. You’ll meet some friendly folks too!

Bring some snacks and drinks if you plan to stay a while; the onsite café can be a bit pricey, and having your own treats makes the day feel more fun.

I think it’s worth checking out the local events calendar before you go. They sometimes host small tournaments that can really enhance your experience and give you a taste of local competition

My advice is to wear comfy shoes and bring a hat or sunscreen if it’s sunny. The courts can get pretty hot, and you want to be comfy while you play.
Petanque Association Gouda

If you're not great at petanque, don’t stress! I recommend asking locals for a quick lesson; they’re super friendly and love teaching newbies. It made my experience way more enjoyable.

Check the weather before you go. I visited on a rainy day, and I wish I had brought proper gear. An umbrella saved me, but I still got soaked!
I suggest getting there around 4 PM on weekdays. It’s less crowded, giving you more chances to play and mingle with the players without the rush.
Waterland Monnickendam

I think you should definitely visit the local shops but be mindful of their hours. Some close earlier than you'd expect, so make a plan!

If you're looking to grab a bite, check out the local fishmonger. I found some great seafood there, but be ready for it to be cash-only, which surprised me!

Don’t forget your camera. There are some really picturesque spots, and you’ll want to snap a few photos, especially around the old buildings and the harbor.

My advice is to take a stroll along the marina during sunset. The colors are breathtaking, and you'll get some incredible photos without the crowds of the daytime.
