I recommend bringing a good camera to catch those epic plane landing shots! The planes come super close, and it's a sight to see. Trust me, you’ll want to capture it!

if you're planning to swim, be cautious of the waves and currents. i underestimated them and got tossed around a bit! always check the flag warnings first

My advice is to arrive before 3 PM if you want to snag a good spot. After that, the beach gets super crowded, and finding a place to sit becomes tricky.
Scheveningen Beach

I found parking a bit tricky, so if you can, use public transport. The tram from The Hague center is really convenient and saves you both time and cash.

Take a walk on the pier during sunset—it’s breathtaking! Just remember to pack a jacket, it gets chilly around 8 PM even in summer. Perfect time for photos!

If you're into water sports, head to the beach early around 9 AM to snag a spot for renting equipment. You'll beat the rush and avoid the higher noon prices!
Mullet Bay Beach

Don't forget to explore the nearby trails. They lead to some stunning views and are often overlooked by visitors. I stumbled upon a beautiful spot just a short walk from the beach.

Pack your own snacks and drinks! The beach bars can be pretty pricey, so I brought a cooler and saved a good chunk of change. Plus, you get to munch on your favorite snacks!
Great Bay Beach

I think the best time to hit the beach is around 4 PM when the crowds thin out. You can catch a stunning sunset without all the tourists crammed in.
My advice is to bring your own beach chairs and towels if you can. The rental fees can add up quickly. I wish I had saved that cash for drinks instead!
Cupecoy Beach

I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks because there's not much around. The beach is stunning but food options can be a bit pricey. I'd recommend hitting up a local grocery store before heading to Cupecoy.

My advice is to enjoy the sunset around 6:30 PM if you can. It's absolutely breathtaking and way less crowded then. Just make sure to get there a bit earlier to snag a good spot!
Kim Sha Beach

I think arriving around 10 AM is perfect because parking is easier to find and you beat the crowds. Plus, you get to enjoy the beach before it gets super hot.

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks, since the beach bars are kinda pricey. I did that and it saved me a ton while we lounged on the sand.
Simpson Bay Beach

My advice is to explore the eastern end of the beach. It's a bit quieter and the sunset views are unreal! I totally missed this on my first visit and regretted it
Little Bay Beach

if you want to avoid the crowds, try hitting the beach around 4 pm. the vibe is so chill and you'll have a better chance of snagging a good spot

I recommend bringing some snacks and drinks with you, as the beachside cafe can get pretty pricey. I wish I had packed a picnic, it would have saved me a few bucks!
