A'dam Lookout

Honestly, visiting right at sunset is magic! The view is stunning and you'll get some fantastic photos. I suggest being up there by 8 PM, especially in summer.
Zoku

If you're on a budget, consider grabbing a drink instead of a full meal; there's plenty of cozy spots outside the Zoku where you can munch on cheaper bites.

My advice is to take the stairs up if you can. The elevator line can get pretty long, and the stairwell offers fun little art exhibitions along the way!

Don't skip the rooftop bar. Happy hour is from 5 to 7 PM, and the cocktails are worth every penny – plus, the ambiance is super chill
Museum Nemo

Buy your tickets online in advance! It saved me time standing in line and I even got a small discount.

Plan to spend at least 2-3 hours here. There’s so much to see and do interacting with all the cool exhibits kept me entertained.

Take the time to explore the hands-on exhibits. I initially skipped them, but I ended up having the most fun there—it’s all about engaging with science!
If you can, visit on a weekday morning around 10 a.m. to avoid the crowds; I did that, and it felt way more relaxed.
Euromast
Sherlocked

I think it’s a great idea to arrive about 15 mins early to get the lowdown on the rules and vibe of the place before diving in.

If you're at Sherlocked, check out the other rooms! We tried one and loved it, but missed out on the others not realizing they were connected.

I recommend booking your escape room in advance, especially on weekends. We showed up and had to wait for a long time – total bummer!

Oh, and bring a water bottle! We got thirsty while solving puzzles and there’s no spot to grab a drink easily nearby.
Freddy's Bar

I recommend visiting Freddy's Bar on a Wednesday evening. It's way less crowded then, and you can really enjoy the ambiance without feeling rushed. I made the mistake of going on a Friday - it was packed!

Don't forget to ask the staff about their happy hour deals! I overlooked this and ended up spending way more on drinks than I needed to. It could save you some euros!
Gapp
If you're planning to eat before heading to Gapp, go for happy hour deals in nearby bars. I saved a ton by just enjoying some small bites for cheaper before hitting the deck.

Check for online offers or discounts! I missed out on a deal when buying my tickets at the entrance, and it stung a bit. Definitely worth a quick hunt online!
Escape Room Bunschoten

After the escape, ask the staff about their other rooms. They were super helpful and recommended the ones we didn't try. I wish I had asked sooner!

Check for any promotions or group deals before you go. We saved a few euros by finding an online discount code that wasn’t super obvious! Saved us a nice lunch afterwards.

If you're like me and can get easily distracted, try to stick to one puzzle at a time instead of jumping around. I lost so much time trying to master everything at once!

Bring a bottle of water! During our escape, we totally forgot to hydrate and it can get a bit intense and sweaty in those rooms.
Malabar

my advice is to check out happy hour deals; drinks can be pricey! i saved quite a bit by going between 5-7 pm. just don't forget to ask about it first!
Blue Amsterdam

I recommend sitting near the glass window for the best experience. I sat more towards the back and kinda missed out on some great shots
