Park Luis Alfonso Velazquez Flores
Save some cash by bringing your own snacks and drinks. The vendors can be pricey, and honestly, the views are better when you're munching on your own treats.
I suggest visiting in the early morning around 7 AM. The park feels super peaceful then, plus it's not too hot yet. Perfect for snapping selfies
if you're into fitness, bring your running shoes! the walking paths are great for a jog or a brisk walk. i felt so good after my workout there.
The bathrooms can get a bit sketchy, especially if it rains. My advice is to use them early in your visit or before you leave. Better safe than sorry!
Reserva Natural Ojo de Agua
Central de Granada Park
Masaya Volcano National Park
I recommend bringing a good pair of binoculars. The views from the rim are pretty awesome, and you might spot some wildlife that’s hard to see without them
Mombacho Volcano Nature Reserve
If you're into zip-lining, I suggest splurging on the combo tickets. They save you money compared to buying activities separately, and trust me, the views are totally worth it!
Volcano Masaya
Eco-Lodge Cascada Blanca
San Juan del Sur Beach
My advice is to skip the overpriced beach bars and head into town for local eateries. The food is way cheaper and tastier! I found a great spot called ‘El Timón’ that had awesome seafood.
