keep an eye out for wildlife! i saw some cool monkeys and birds, but they can be shy. stay quiet and patient to catch a glimpse.

I think it's worth bringing your own snacks and water. The prices at the gift shop can be a bit steep, plus you get to enjoy your food surrounded by nature.

Wear comfortable shoes! You’ll do a lot of walking on the trails and climbing up to the canopy walkway, so make sure your feet are happy!

I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can; weekends are way busier and can feel overwhelming with the number of people around
Tafava Baleva Square
Ndubuisi Kanu Park Oregun Lagos
I think it’s smart to pack a picnic; food in the park can be a bit pricey. We brought our own and saved a ton.

My advice is to check for live events or programs planned for your visit. I stumbled upon an open-air concert that was a blast!

I recommend visiting Ndubuisi Kanu Park in the early morning around 7 AM. It’s much cooler, and you get to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere before the crowds arrive
Freedom Park Lagos

I suggest visiting Freedom Park during the weekday if you can. It's way less crowded, and you can really soak in the atmosphere without the hustle and bustle. Weekends can get pretty packed.

My advice is to bring some snacks. The food options can be a bit pricey, and there aren't too many close by. Packing a little picnic can save you some cash.

Don’t forget your camera. The park has some really Instagrammable spots, especially around sunset. Just make sure to wander a bit to find the best angles.
Millennium Park
Yankari National Park

My advice is to hire a guide for a few hours—they really know where to find the best wildlife and hidden gems. Trust me, it’s worth the money and you won't waste time wandering aimlessly!
