I think it's worth bringing your own snacks and water. The prices at the gift shop can be a bit steep, plus you get to enjoy your food surrounded by nature.
Wear comfortable shoes! You’ll do a lot of walking on the trails and climbing up to the canopy walkway, so make sure your feet are happy!
I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can; weekends are way busier and can feel overwhelming with the number of people around
I recommend going early, around 8 AM, to avoid the crowds and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It's so serene when you get there before everyone else.

I think it’s smart to pack a picnic; food in the park can be a bit pricey. We brought our own and saved a ton.
My advice is to check for live events or programs planned for your visit. I stumbled upon an open-air concert that was a blast!
I recommend visiting Ndubuisi Kanu Park in the early morning around 7 AM. It’s much cooler, and you get to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere before the crowds arrive
Freedom Park Lagos
Don’t forget your camera. The park has some really Instagrammable spots, especially around sunset. Just make sure to wander a bit to find the best angles.

My advice is to hire a guide for a few hours—they really know where to find the best wildlife and hidden gems. Trust me, it’s worth the money and you won't waste time wandering aimlessly!
