Sultan Qaboos Mosque
Al Alam Palace
Nizwa Fortress

I recommend checking out the view from the top of the tower. It gives you a pretty great perspective of Nizwa and the surrounding mountains. Just don’t rush; take your time up there!

My advice is to bring some snacks and water since the cafes inside can be a bit pricey. I ended up spending more than I wanted on a small bottle of water!

I suggest visiting the fortress early, around 8 AM, to avoid the heat and the crowds... You’ll have way better photo oppurtunities too... Trust me, it’s worth waking up a bit earlier
Mohammed Al Ameen Mosque
National Museum of Oman

If you want to avoid the crowds, try visiting on a weekday morning around 10 AM. I did this and had the place pretty much to myself!

Look out for any special exhibitions or events when you visit. I stumbled upon a fantastic photography exhibit that I didn’t know about beforehand, and it was a highlight of my trip!
Mutrah Corniche

Don’t miss the local cafés along the Corniche; they’re perfect for a quick bite without breaking the bank. I loved the mint lemonade at one of them!

Plan your parking ahead, as it can get tricky during weekends. I had to drive around a bit to find a spot, but there's usually a side street where you can park for free!

If you're into architecture, take your time exploring the buildings before and during the sunset. The lighting makes for amazing photos, especially near the fish market.
Beit el-Zubair
Jibreen Castle

I suggest checking out the local shops before you head to the castle - they have some cool handicrafts and if you bargain a bit, you might save some cash! Combine the visit with snacking on local treats, it's a win-win.
