Faisal Mosque

Don't skip the evening visit! The mosque is lit beautifully after sunset – I was amazed at how different it looked at night compared to daytime.

If you're on a budget, you can actually explore the nearby trails and viewpoints for free. The view from the hills around the mosque is breathtaking!

My advice is to wear comfortable shoes. The floor can get pretty hot, and you'll definitely be walking around a lot. I learned that the hard way!

I recommend bringing a water bottle. There's not much access to shops nearby, and it can get pretty warm, especially during the day.
Badshahi Mosque
Lahore Fort
Port Grand

I think visiting Port Grand around 5 PM is perfect! The sunset views over the water are just breathtaking. Just make sure to bring your camera!

I suggest taking a stroll along the waterfront. It's not just for the views; you'll find some great little shops and quieter spots away from the crowd.

I recommend trying the local street food stalls inside the complex... The flavors are incredible and it’s way cheaper than the restaurants... Just watch out for the spice levels!

My advice is to wear comfortable shoes. The place can get quite crowded on weekends, and you’ll want to walk around and explore without your feet killing you.
Shalimar Bagh

I suggest visiting on a weekday, especially in the morning. It's much less crowded, and you can really soak in the peaceful vibe of the gardens without the hustle and bustle of a weekend crowd.

I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. You’ll do quite a bit of walking, and the pathways are beautiful but can be uneven in places, so be prepared to stroll around comfortably.
Check the weather before you go. I went on a sunny day and it was gorgeous, but a cooler time of year or cloudy day would be more pleasant if you're planning to stay for a while

Visit the historical sections outside of peak hours like around 4 PM. The light is beautiful then for photos and it’s less busy when you want to appreciate the art and architecture.
Delhi Darwaza
Grand Jamia Mosque

My advice is to wear comfy shoes because you’ll be walking a lot on marble. I didn’t brace myself and regretted it halfway through the visit, ugh!

I think bringing a water bottle is smart. There aren’t many vendor around, and it can get hot, especially later in the day. Hydration is key!
Wazir Khan Mosque

Bring a small water bottle to stay hydrated while you wander around. There are places to buy drinks nearby, but it can save you a few bucks if you bring your own.

If you can, visit early in the morning around 8 AM. The light for photos is amazing and it's way less crowded then, so you can really soak in the beauty of the mosque.

Take your time and appreciate the intricate tile work and calligraphy. I suggest sitting quietly in the courtyard for a few minutes – it's a great way to soak in the atmosphere.
Jinnah Mausoleum

My advice is to check the weather beforehand. Karachi can get pretty hot, so be prepared with water and a hat to keep yourself comfortable.

I think it's worth spending some time in the museum located nearby. It's small but filled with fascinating history about Pakistan's founding and Jinnah's life.

I suggest visiting early in the morning, around 9 AM. The crowds are lighter, and you'll get great photos without too many people in the way.

Don't miss the chance to explore the gardens surrounding the mausoleum. They are peaceful and perfect for a relaxing stroll after your visit.
