Shakarparian National Park

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes. I didn't, and I regretted it while exploring all the trails. There’s a lot more walking than I expected!

My advice is to bring your own snacks or a picnic. The food options inside were quite limited and overpriced, so save some cash!

Don't forget to charge your phone. I ran out of battery taking photos because the views are super photogenic, so bring a power bank too.

I think it’s a great idea to check the weather beforehand. I got caught in a sprinkle and didn’t have an umbrella, so a little prep can go a long way!
Ayub National Park

Wear comfortable shoes! I didn't realize how much walking there would be, and I regretted wearing fancy shoes. Your feet will thank you.

Get there by 8 AM to avoid the crowds and really enjoy the peaceful nature. Trust me, the morning air and quiet paths make a big difference!
Race Course

I think you should check out the jogging track if you can. It’s a nice way to see the park and get in some exercise without spending extra time.

I suggest visiting early in the morning around 7 AM. The weather is so much nicer, plus you can avoid crowds and grab some cool photos before it gets busy.

I recommend exploring the small gardens and quiet corners! They are often overlooked by tourists and you might just find a lovely spot to chill out and enjoy the scenery.

My advice is to bring your own snacks and water. There are food stalls, but they can be a bit pricey and sometimes not the best quality.
Fatima Jinnah Park

Try to avoid weekends if you can. It's pretty crowded then, making it harder to enjoy the space. Midweek visits are way more relaxing!

I think you should wear comfortable shoes since the park is huge and you'll want to explore all the trails without any pain.

Check out the local vendors outside the park for some authentic street food. Much cheaper and tastes way better than what's inside!

My advice is to bring a water bottle and some snacks. The park is lovely, but food options can be pricey and limited.
Bagh-e-Jinnah
Lake View Park

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The vendor prices can be a bit high, and having your own stuff lets you relax without worrying about costs.
Greater Iqbal Park

I suggest visiting in the early morning, around 7 AM. The park is quieter, and you can really enjoy the views without the huge crowds and heat.
Hiran MInar Park

I think you should explore the garden areas before heading to the Hiran Minar itself. You'll likely find quiet spots to chill and appreciate the architecture without the rush.

I suggest visiting during the early morning around 8 AM. The park is less crowded then, and the light for photos is awesome. Trust me, it makes a huge difference for your pics.
My advice is to bring some snacks and water. The food stalls can be a bit pricey and not all that great, so packing your own treats saves you money.
Deosai National Park

I think you should try to visit during the last week of August when the wildflowers are in full bloom, it’s just stunning! I went in early September and missed a lot of the colors.

My advice is to start your hikes by 7 AM. You'll get the best views and avoid the midday heat. I went too late once, and the lighting wasn’t great for photos.
Margalla Hills

I'd recommend getting there around 7 AM. The sunrise views are breathtaking, and you’ll beat the crowds and the heat. Plus, it feels so peaceful to be up there early!

Bring cash for local food stalls. I got caught out because some places don’t accept cards and I missed out on some tasty snacks after my hike

I suggest wearing good hiking shoes! I took a wrong turn and ended up on a steeper trail than I expected, and trust me, proper shoes made all the difference.
