Bring cash for the entrance fee and some snacks. I thought I could use credit card but found out they only take cash, and I ended up shaky from hunger halfway through!

I recommend booking your tour through local operators instead of big agencies; it not only saves money, but you'll get a more authentic experience with fewer people. Trust me, the smaller groups are way more fun!

I suggest wearing layers, the weather can change super quick! I started off cold, then got too hot hiking, and I regretted not having lighter stuff. Pack smart and you'll enjoy the view more!
