Don't forget to bring your own snacks or a packed lunch; the cafe on-site can be a bit pricey and not fully stocked. I wish I had brought something to munch on during our wait!

I recommend wearing layers! It can get chilly up there in the sailplane, even if it’s warm on the ground. I wasn't prepared for the wind and could've enjoyed the experience more if I had thought ahead.
