Szczeliniec Wielki
Lake Morskie Oko

The walk is beautiful, but don’t underestimate how long it can take. I suggest giving yourself at least 2-3 hours to get to the lake to enjoy the views without rushing

Watch out for the weather! It can change quickly in the mountains. My advice is to have a light rain jacket handy even if it looks sunny when you start.

Pack a proper lunch. We spent way too much on overpriced snacks at the nearby cafe. Bring a picnic and enjoy it by the lake instead.
Babia Gora Peak
Tarnica Peak
Skrzyczne Peak
Trzy Korony Peak
Turbacz Peak

Start your hike early, around 7 AM, to avoid crowds and enjoy the serene beauty of nature. Trust me, it’s worth waking up early.
Pilsko Peak

For food, there's a lovely small restaurant at the base. I suggest grabbing a sandwich there. It’s cheaper than the ones up the mountain, and you’ll want energy for the climb!

Wear comfortable shoes but also think about bringing a second pair. My shoes got wet, and I wish I had a dry pair for the return. You'll thank me later!

Bring plenty of water! I didn't think I needed much, but it gets hot as you hike up. Six liters should do, especially in summer. Trust me, you don’t want to feel dehydrated!
Czarny Staw Gasienicowy

I suggest hitting the trails early, around 7 AM, to avoid the crowds. Trust me, the peaceful views of the lake at that time are so worth it!

Wear sturdy hiking boots! The trail can get a bit slippery, especially after rain. I learned that the hard way after a muddy mishap!

If you're on a budget, pack a picnic. The nearby snack prices can be a bit steep. Enjoying your lunch by the lake felt special and saved some cash.

I think you should definitely bring a reusable water bottle. There are places to refill, and it helps cut down on plastic waste while you stay hydrated.
