Wawel Castle

My advice is to buy your tickets online. I went on a busy weekend, and the lines were super long. Pre-booking totally saved my time!

You might want to skip the audio guide. I found that some parts were underwhelming, and the free pamphlet had most of the info you need.
Malbork Castle
Furstenstein
Royal Castle

I recommend taking a stroll in the gardens after your tour; the views are beautiful and it's a great way to relax before heading out. Don't skip this!

If you want to save some cash, try to get a combo ticket for the castle and maybe another nearby attraction. I found that really helped with my budget!

Make sure to bring a snack or two! There are limited options for food inside, and I regret not packing something to munch on while I explored.

I think the audio guide is totally worth it; it gives you neat insights and stories that you won't get just by walking around. I'd say grab one at the entrance.
Peskova Skala

Wear comfortable shoes! The terrain around the castle can be uneven and hilly. I didn't realize this before my visit, and I ended up with sore feet after all the exploring.

If you're aiming for fewer crowds, I suggest going on a weekday morning around 10 AM. I went late in the afternoon and it was packed, so I missed some of the charm.

Look for any special events or exhibitions happening during your visit. I stumbled upon a local arts fair that made my trip much more memorable. Definitely worth checking!

Bring a picnic! There are some lovely spots to sit outside the castle. I saved money by packing a lunch instead of eating at the café, which can be pricey.
Lesnica Castle

Start your visit in the morning around 9 AM to avoid the crowds and get some nice photos before it gets busy. Trust me, the light is much better for pictures then too

I suggest checking out the little café nearby for lunch - their homemade cakes are a hit and pretty affordable! You'll save some money compared to dining at touristy spots.

Don’t miss the park surrounding the castle. It’s a great place to relax after your tour and appreciate the scenery plus it's often overlooked by other tourists.
