Commerce Square

I think you should take a few minutes to sit on the steps and just admire the view. It's a great time to people-watch and enjoy the atmosphere.

I recommend visiting early in the morning, around 9 AM, to avoid the big crowds. It's way more peaceful, and you can really soak in the stunning architecture.

If you're up for a snack, check out the kiosks in the square. I scored some cheap pastries and coffee for under 5 euros. Total win!

Bring a portable charger! I didn't, and my phone died while snapping pics. The place is so photogenic; you'll definitely want your camera ready.
The Sanctuary of Fatima

Make sure to check the schedule for mass times or special events. I didn't realize there was a procession happening, which added so much more to my visit!

When you leave, take a stroll around the surrounding area. There are some lovely little shops and cafes right outside where you can grab a bite or some souvenirs, making your trip even more special.

I suggest bringing your own water and snacks from outside. The prices inside can be pretty high, and there are some nice places to sit and enjoy a picnic.

If you can, visit during the week instead of the weekend. The crowds can be insane on Saturdays, and you'll find it much easier to explore on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

If you're tight on budget, grab a snack from a local bakery rather than eating at the touristy cafes nearby. It’s tastier and way cheaper, trust me!

I suggest getting there early, like around 9 AM, to avoid the crowds. It’s way more peaceful to explore the architecture without all the people blocking your selfies!

I think it’s worth spending some time in the nearby Maritime Museum. It has awesome exhibits, and it’s just a short walk away – makes for a great combo outing!

My advice is to check the opening times before you go. Sometimes they change seasonally, and you don’t wanna miss out on visiting the tower itself!
Mosteiro dos Jeronimos
Quinta da Regaleira

Check out the initiation well – it's got this magical vibe! But be ready for some steep stairs. It’s worth it for the awesome view at the bottom though!

Don’t forget to bring some snacks and water. There are spots to sit and chill, so you can enjoy a little picnic in the gardens… plus saves money instead of buying everything there.

I recommend visiting during the week if you can. The weekend crowds can be a bit overwhelming, and you’ll get way better photos without all the people in your shots

I suggest buying your ticket online before you go. It saved me some time and I could skip that long queue. Plus, there are often discounts for online purchases!
Palacio Nacional de Sintra

If you're looking to save a bit, check for any local discount cards or combined tickets for nearby attractions. They can save you a bit of cash!

Plan your visit on a weekday if you can. It's way less crowded and you can enjoy the atmosphere without the hustle and bustle.

Grab a local snack or pastel de nata nearby before you go. Enjoying a treat while taking in the views makes the visit even better!

Try to visit during sunrise or sunset for stunning views and great lighting for photos. It's less crowded too!
