If you want to enjoy the sunset, head towards the water at around 7 PM. The views are stunning and it’s a perfect photo op.

I think renting a bike is a fantastic way to explore the area. It’s more affordable than many tours, plus you can go at your own pace and discover hidden gems.

Don't forget to check out the local eateries nearby. Some places offer great discounts at lunch, and the food is way better than you'd expect.

my advice is to bring some cash. while many places accept cards, some small vendors only take cash, and you don't want to miss out on local treats!

Check out the food menu too – some reviews mentioned the nachos are a hit! I didn’t try them, but I heard they’re shareable and great to munch on while playing.
Try to visit around 8 PM; the vibe starts getting lively then and you can catch some great live music. I went too early and it was a bit quiet
Grab a drink from the happy hour menu! It’s quite a good deal, and you’ll save some cash while enjoying their tasty cocktails. I forgot to ask and ended up paying full price!

If you're planning to play billiards, my advice is to come in on a weekday. The weekends can get super crowded and you might end up waiting a long time for a table.
Tactical Shooting Range

Make sure to book your session online in advance! I didn't, and it was a bit of a scramble to find an open time slot, especially on weekends when it's busier.

Try to visit in the late afternoon around 4 PM. The crowds thin out a bit and you’ll have more time on the range without feeling rushed. It made my experience way more enjoyable.

If you're new to shooting, definitely go for the instruction package. It's worth the extra money to have a pro guiding you, trust me. I felt way more comfortable!
Straja

My advice is to rent your gear in town instead of on the mountain. It saved me a good chunk of change, and I liked the staff better in the shops!

If you're into snowmobiling, consider booking a guided tour. I wasn't sure if it was worth it, but it turned out really fun and I met cool people!
I think it's smart to hit the slopes early, like around 8 AM, to avoid the crowds. The fresh powder in the morning is unbeatable.
Arena Platos
Kalinderu Ski Slope

I suggest checking the weather before you head up. When I went the forecast was sunny but it turned cloudy and windy which kinda messed up my plans. It helps to be prepared!

I recommend trying to arrive around 9 am. The slopes were less crowded then, and I managed to get more runs in before the lines got crazy. Trust me, it’s totally worth it!

My advice is to rent your gear from places in Busteni instead of on the slope. You'll save some cash and there are plenty of shops that offer good deals before you hit the snow.
