I suggest going during the week instead of the weekend. It was way less crowded for me, so I could enjoy the beauty without being jostled around.

My advice is to bring a little cash for the donation box inside. It'll help you feel more connected to the place, and it's a good way to support its upkeep.

I recommend checking out the view from the observation deck. The sunset view is breathtaking, and it’s perfect for photos! Just make sure to get there by 6 PM

I think you should wear comfortable shoes. There's a lot of floor space and stairs plus it's easier to navigate when you're not worried about your feet killing you!
Fountain Friendship of Peoples
Anichkov Bridge

If you can, visit in the morning around 9 AM when the crowds are thin. You'll get better photos without all the tourists poking around.
