Uvac Special Nature Reserve
Tasmajdan

Take a moment to relax by the fountains; they're perfect for people-watching! I loved seeing families enjoy the space, but it can get a bit noisy during the weekend.

Check out the park early in the morning around 8 AM. It's so peaceful and great for a morning stroll or jog before the crowds show up.

My advice is to visit the local market before heading to Tasmajdan. Grab some fresh fruits to enjoy while you wander through the park. Way healthier than snack options nearby!

Don't skip the small cafes inside the park. They offer tasty local snacks and drinks at affordable prices. I think the prices are much better than the touristy ones outside.

Danube Park

Don’t skip the little pathways; they lead to some hidden gems and quieter spots where you can relax. I almost missed them looking for the main attractions!
i think visiting on a weekday is a smart move. the weekends can get crowded, and strolling around with fewer people makes the experience so much better!

I suggest checking out the park early in the morning around 8 AM. It’s so peaceful then, and you can catch the sunrise over the Danube. Plus, fewer crowds mean better photo ops!

If you want to save some bucks, pack your own snacks and drinks – there aren’t many affordable shops inside the park, and you’ll want to enjoy a picnic!

Belgrade Zoo
Kalemegdan

Check out the Military Museum inside the fortress; it’s super affordable and offers a fascinating peek into history. Trust me, it’s worth the small entry fee!

If you want to avoid the crowd, aim to arrive on a weekday in the morning around 9 AM. It's less hectic and you can enjoy the views in peace.

Pack a light snack! There are plenty of benches with gorgeous views, and enjoying a little picnic among the trees is a wonderful experience.

Fruska Gora

If you're planning to hike get there early around 8 AM to beat the crowds and enjoy the peace of the trails. Trust me the views are way better without all the noise!

Sturdy shoes are a must. I wore running shoes but found myself slipping a lot. Hiking boots or sturdy sneakers would definitely improve your experience.

Bring plenty of water and snacks! Some trails can take longer than expected, and you'll thank yourself later when you’re not starving halfway through the hike.
Pack a picnic to enjoy while you're there. I found some lovely spots to relax with beautiful views, and it saves you money instead of eating at restaurants.
