Esplanade Theater

Got stuck in traffic on the way there, so my tip is to take the MRT instead. It's fast and brings you right to the Esplanade!

The views from the roof terrace are pretty stunning. I suggest popping up there before the show; it’s a great photo op and usually less crowded around 5 PM.

Keep an eye on their free events calendar. I stumbled upon a fantastic outdoor performance on a Saturday night—didn’t cost a dime!

Food can get pricey around the area, so my advice is to grab a bite at one of the hawker centers before heading to the theater. You’ll save some cash and eat something local!

If you're into food, stop by the hawker center nearby for local eats instead of the pricier restaurants. The chicken rice there is amazing and much cheaper!

When you're walking around, don't forget to explore the alleyways. I stumbled upon some cool cafes and boutique shops that weren't in the main area – way cooler than the touristy spots!

Look for happy hour deals at the bars; some are pretty good, and you can save on drinks while soaking in the views. I ended up at a place with 1-for-1 cocktails and it was awesome!

Bring a power bank! I spent so much time taking pictures that my phone died pretty quickly. You'll want to capture every angle of those colorful buildings!

Museum of Art and Science

Don’t forget to explore the outdoor area! I was so focused on the exhibits that I almost skipped the beautiful sculptures outside. Take a stroll after your visit!

I recommend arriving around 10 AM to beat the crowds – this really helps you enjoy the exhibits at a more leisurely pace without feeling rushed.

I suggest checking out the latest exhibition schedule online before your visit, so you know what to expect and don’t miss anything cool. I missed an interactive show that was only on for a couple days!

Pro tip: Use the Oculus app if you're into augmented reality. It adds a neat layer to your experience and it’s free! I had a blast with this!
Madame Tussauds Singapore

Take your time in the Celebrity Chamber; I rushed through it and missed some great photo ops. You won't want to miss capturing those Insta-worthy moments!

I suggest booking your tickets online in advance; it saves you time and sometimes there's a discount. I found that the lines can get pretty long if you buy at the door.

If you're into the interactive experiences, don't skip the Virtual Reality ride. It was surprisingly fun! But plan ahead as it can have long wait times during peak hours.
Sultan Hussein Mosque

I suggest bringing a light scarf or cardigan to cover your shoulders; they can be strict about dress codes, and it's better to be safe than sorry!

The Science Centre Singapore

Grab a quick bite at the café in between exhibits. It's not the cheapest, but the food is pretty decent, way better than vending machine snacks.

Especially for kids, the outdoor water play area is a must! Remember to bring a change of clothes, because you’ll want to let them splash around!

I think the better part of the Science Centre is the IMAX theatre. If you like movies, don’t skip it! But be ready to book a ticket ahead of time; it fills up fast.

Be mindful of your time with the exhibits. Some self-guided spots can lead you down a rabbit hole if you’re not careful! Set a timer if you want to catch everything!
