Gardens by the Bay
East Coast Park

If you're into water sports, rent equipment early in the day to avoid the crowds. I went around noon and had to wait way too long to get a kayak.

Bring your own snacks and drinks! I found the food stalls a bit pricey, and packing a picnic saved me money and time looking for eateries.
Visit the beach in the late afternoon around 5 PM. The sunset view is breathtaking and it’s cooler for a stroll or setting up a perfect picnic.

Rent a bike instead of walking. The park is huge, and biking lets you cover more ground easily, plus it's super fun – I loved zooming down the paths!
Merlion Park

I think it's a good idea to grab a snack from one of the local hawker stalls nearby. The food is cheap and super yummy, plus it will save you from overpriced park cafe prices.

Don't forget to check out the light show later in the evening! It's free and a great way to wrap up your visit. Just be sure to get a good spot early!

If you're planning to snap some pics, bring a bit of patience! Lots of people fighting for the best angle, but it’s worth it for that perfect shot.

My advice is to wear comfortable shoes! The area is bigger than it looks, and there's a lot of walking involved if you want to see everything.
Night Safari in Singapore

If you can, buy your tickets online beforehand to save a few bucks. Trust me, waiting in line is a time-waster!

Check out the tram ride first - we waited until later and it got crowded. Starting with that gives you a good overview of the park!

I suggest getting there around 7 PM so you can catch the animal shows before it gets too dark. It's way more fun seeing the animals active!

I found it a bit tricky to navigate the paths after dusk. Make sure to follow the signs closely, or you might end up walking in circles.
Singapore Botanical Gardens

Download the map of the gardens before you visit. It can be easy to get lost, and it's super helpful to plan your route efficiently.
Singapore Zoo

Arrive right when the zoo opens at 8:30 AM. You'll avoid the crowds and have a more relaxed experience. Plus, the animals are usually more active in the morning!
Jurong Lake Gardens

If you're into walking trails, make sure to download a map beforehand. I got a little lost at first, and it would have saved me time.

For a unique view, don't miss the Sky Garden. I almost skipped it, but it ended up being my favorite part of the gardens!
I highly recommend bringing some snacks or a picnic blanket. There are beautiful spots to relax, and food options nearby can be a bit pricey.
Siloso Beach

My advice is to try out the beach volleyball courts. They’re free to use and super fun — just look for a game to join!

I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks. The beachside vendors can be a bit pricey, and there's really no reason to spend so much when you can pack your own picnic.

I suggest getting there around 9 AM to beat the crowds and snag a good spot on the sand. We arrived later and had to hunt for a decent space!
Changi Beach Park
Bring your own snacks and drinks if you can. I spent more than I expected at the beach eateries, and having your own stuff saves some cash!

I recommend visiting in the early morning around 7 AM when it's less crowded and cooler. You can snag the best views and maybe catch a stunning sunrise.

I suggest renting a bike and exploring the coastal paths. It's a fun way to see more of the area, and you can take your time stopping for pics.
Jurong Bird Park
Be careful with the heat! Bring sunscreen and a hat - I got burned despite thinking I wouldn't need it. Hydrate well, too, especially if you’re there all day.

Take advantage of the tram ride. It’s a nice break, and you’ll cover a lot more ground without wearing yourself out too soon. Plus, it’s kind of fun!
