I recommend getting there early, like around 9 AM, to avoid the crowds. Trust me, having the caves mostly to yourself makes the experience so much more magical

Don't skip the souvenir shop! They have some cool affordable goodies that you won't find anywhere else. I got a super cute cave-themed magnet for just a couple of euros.

If you're planning on taking photos, be aware that it can get a bit dim in certain spots. A good flashlight app on your phone will definitely help you capture the beauty without the blur, so download it before you go!
Jama Vilenica
Kostanjeviska Jama
Divaca Cave
Skocjan Caves

I suggest you book your tickets online in advance... The lines can get pretty long especially on weekends and you'll save time for more exploring! I learned this the hard way by waiting almost an hour at the ticket counter

I'd recommend bringing a good pair of walking shoes. The paths can be slippery and uneven, plus you'll be doing a lot of walking. I wish I had known this before my visit; my legs felt like jelly by the end.
Planina Cave

I suggest buying your tickets online to skip the line when you arrive; it helped me save loads of time! Plus, the earlier you go, like around 10 AM, the less crowded it is.

Make sure to wear good shoes—trust me, I wore flip-flops and regretted it. The paths can be slick and uneven, so comfy hiking boots are a must for a better experience
Snow Cave Raduha

Plan your visit for a weekday around 10 AM; we found it much less crowded, making the experience so much more enjoyable. The cave feels magical when you’re not jostling for space!

Bring a power bank for your phone; the cave is super Instagrammable, and you'll want to snap pics. I ran out of battery too soon and missed some great shots!

I suggest wearing sturdy shoes; the ground can be slippery and uneven. I saw a few folks struggling in flip-flops, and it looked painful! Trust me, your feet will thank you.
