I suggest checking the weather a few days ahead. Wind can change plans! The skies were pretty cloudy on my first try, but I rescheduled and got the best views on a clear day.

Pro tip: wear layered clothing. It’s chilly at higher altitudes, but you’ll warm up once you’re in the air. I was freezing at first but ended up fine once we started flying.

I recommend arriving by 9 AM. The mornings are usually less crowded, and you can enjoy some quieter flights. Plus, you'll have more time to take photos before it gets busier.

my advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. the on-site options are kind of limited and pricey. i saved a ton by packing sandwiches and water for the day.

I think it's a great idea to check the weather before you go. Clear skies are a must for gliding, so you might want to reschedule if it's looking cloudy or windy. Have a backup plan for the day just in case.

Bring a camera or GoPro for the jump – the views are insane! But double-check their policy on cameras before you go.

Make sure to wear comfortable clothes, like leggings and a fitted top. Those jumpsuits can be a bit bulky, and you want to feel good while soaring!

Book your jump in advance. I waited too long and almost missed out, since they can fill up fast on weekends.

Check out their photos and video packages before you go. I ended up spending more than I planned because I didn't realize how pricey the extras would be. Budget for it!

I highly recommend booking your jump in advance, especially on weekends. I didn’t, and had to wait around longer than I wanted to, which cut into my beach time!

My advice is to get to the drop zone by 9 am. It’s calmer then plus you’ll get the best views of Table Mountain without the cloud cover ruining the experience!

My advice is to bring some cash for the launch site and any extra costs—like photos or drinks after. It saves time fumbling for cards.
