My advice is to book your tickets online in advance. I didn’t, and I ended up waiting in a long line that had me feeling a bit impatient before I even got inside!

If you’re looking to save some money, consider bringing your own snacks. The cafe has tasty food, but it’s a bit pricey. I regret not packing a little something!

I recommend getting there right when it opens at 9 AM. It can get super crowded, and you really don’t want to rush through all the exhibits because they're so impactful

I think you should take your time in the main exhibition area. I rushed it a bit, and I missed some of the more emotional stories. Trust me, each section is worth absorbing.
Constitution Hill

I recommend getting there right when it opens at 9 AM. It gets super busy later, and you'll have more space to explore and take photos without all the crowds around.

I think you should wear comfortable shoes. There’s a lot of walking, and the cobblestone paths can be pretty tricky. I wish I had known that before my visit!
I suggest checking out the temporary exhibitions if you can. They often have unique displays that really add to the experience. I stumbled upon one and it was a highlight of my visit!
Castle of Good Hop

My advice is to get the combo ticket that includes the castle and surrounding attractions. You save some cash and get to explore more of the area instead of just the castle.

I suggest checking the castle's schedule for special events or reenactments. I stumbled upon one and it really added to the experience, but I missed a couple of others!
Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa

I recommend visiting on a weekday if you can; it’s less crowded and you can really enjoy the space. I went on a Thursday, and it felt so much more relaxed!

I suggest bringing a lightweight sweater; it can get a bit chilly in some galleries due to the climate control. I was caught off guard during my visit.

My advice is to check out the little café inside; they have great coffee and snacks that are reasonably priced. I ended up spending more time there than I expected!
Mandela's House

I recommend taking your time in the garden. I rushed through it, but it's peaceful and has some really cool photo spots. Take a moment to just sit and reflect.

Try to bring cash! I found that the ticket prices are slightly cheaper if you pay in cash rather than card, plus you won't have to deal with possible card issues
Bloukrans Bridge

I recommend bringing snacks and water. The onsite cafe can get pricey, and you might be waiting a while if it's busy.

I think you should wear comfortable shoes. You'll be doing some walking on the bridge, and trust me, flip-flops aren’t going to cut it!

I suggest booking your bungee jump in advance online to lock in a spot and save some cash. They sometimes have deals if you book ahead.

My advice is to visit early in the morning around 9 AM. The bridge is less crowded then, and you'll have a better chance to take those epic photos without anyone photobombing you!
Bo Kaap

i recommend visiting the bo-kaap museum first to get a real sense of the area's history. it helped me appreciate the colorful streets even more!

Definitely check out the local eateries; the Cape Malay food is fantastic but budget for it! I spent more than I expected, so planning a budget helps.

Make sure you bring a good camera because the colorful houses are stunning! I found the best spots for photos early in the morning around 9 AM
Sci-Bono Discovery Centre

If you're into science demos, make sure to catch the scheduled shows. I missed one because I didn’t check the times, and it sounded super fun!

My advice is to bring a packed lunch. The café is a bit pricey, and there are nice picnic spots outside if the weather’s good.

I recommend checking the special events calendar before you go. They sometimes have cool workshops or talks that can really enhance your visit.
